Stunning Still Life, Fabulous Flowers
The subject of the workshop will be still life and flowers with emphasis on the guiding principles of creating strong paintings. Preparation before beginning to paint will be emphasized, as well as discussions of composition, warm / cool color theory, value pattern, and color mixing.
JoeAnna will begin the workshop with a demonstration of her approach and execution. For the rest of the workshop, she prefers doing frequent “demos on demand”,which allows her to analyze the areas she thinks may need further explanationand exploration. Since all levels of artists are welcome, thisflexibility allows her to address the needs of individual artists, not matter where they are in their journey.
